Thanks for joining me Over Coffee
A writer by passion and profession, I've been writing since I was old enough to know how, so establishing a weblog
seemed a natural progression. By adding a blog to my site, I can speak about my passions and life, share my writing, art
and photos, and comment on current events.

I am sitting here, and I do believe that my brain has liquified and is running out of my ears. I am also trying to figure out how to bleach my eyeballs to cleanse them from what I've just read.
Why? Well, because I am in "wonder" over this article (forwarded to me by my husband) about New Zealand artist Gail Haffern and her non-tributorial depiction of the events of 9-11 in the U.S. Apparently, Ms. Haffern has evolved beyond the rest of us to the point where moralism is a non-issue, and mass destruction and loss of life is just artistic and "wonderful."
Amazingly, she is quoted as saying, "The only thing that is good is life on this planet and we are part of it." Perhaps she has missed the fact that on September 11th more than 3,000 people lost that "good thing." Will her next piece celebrate the golden dancing flames of Auschwitz?
I am sure that I am not the first nor shall I be the last blogger to address this article and artist, but I could not let it pass without comment.
May we never be so highly evolved as to rise above moralism to a place where there is no good, evil, right or wrong and apparently no compassion or common sense.
