Thanks for joining me Over Coffee
A writer by passion and profession, I've been writing since I was old enough to know how, so establishing a weblog
seemed a natural progression. By adding a blog to my site, I can speak about my passions and life, share my writing, art

So let's talk coffee...this is our cappaccino machine, which I use regularly and love. We liked it so much that when we burned out the old one, we searched high and low for a place selling the same model. It froths milk perfectly. What do I do with my machine? I make these mostly:
Cappuccino 1/4 cup brewed espresso, hot
3/4 cup milk, frothed/steamed
Prepare the espresso and steam
and froth the milk. Once the milk
has been frothed gently, place the
fluff carefully into the cup of
espresso to a point above the lip
of the cup.
Cafe Latte 1 cup of steamed whole milk
1/4 cup brewed espresso, hot
Froth the milk and pour into a
10-ounce mug and very slowly
pour espresso down the inner
edge of the mug.
Coffee is about more than caffeine. Coffee drinks--from the old standard cup of joe to the fancy double espresso cappuccino--are a comfort food...er drink. Warm and creamy. Lattes and cappuccinos are my weakness. I haven't found a soy milk version I like.
