As the DC metro sniper comes nearer my Virginia residence, and I read stories like this, I begin to wonder if the highly publicized white truck/van has people looking the wrong way. They're hardly sparse in this area, so what's to stop this spree killer from changing vehicles. Then, when witnesses in the area searching the crowd for a white vehicle, he or they are free to escape in another less conspicuously?
