ADDENDUM REGARDING these Little Piggies: Farm Sanctuary is asking for polite letters to be sent to the judge who will be hearing this case sending the message that gross neglect is abuse and should not be tolerated. Here is the information:
HELP CONVICT THE PIG FARMER OF CRUELTY TO ANIMALS: Farm animals need you to demonstrate that people care about pigs too — and want farm animal abusers STOPPED. Your calls and letters are urgently needed to urge a strong cruelty conviction of Gerald Nason, the farmer who left the Cattaraugus County pigs to freeze and starve to death. Nason is being charged with 120 counts of cruelty and he has plead "Not Guilty". His hearing is scheduled for February 20th — please don't delay, write or call today!

Thank Judge Preston for granting legal custody of the pigs to the SPCA and urge him to prosecute the abuser to the fullest extent of the law, including prohibiting Nason from having any animals.
