Thanks for joining me Over Coffee
A writer by passion and profession, I've been writing since I was old enough to know how, so establishing a weblog
seemed a natural progression. By adding a blog to my site, I can speak about my passions and life, share my writing, art
and photos, and comment on current events.

Saturday night, I shared the story of Hope. Today, I share the results of
the hearing.
Tremena Miskel, a special education instructor with Ed Mayo Middle School, was found guilty of unlawful animal neglect and received:
$1,000 fine, $500 suspended
10 days in jail, suspended
One year probation
A slap on the wrists, but at least...she must forfeit her ownership of the surviving dog, is prohibited from owning any "pet" while living in Gautier, and was ordered to pay expenses for the care Hope has received until now.
