You can Help Save Buffy Buffy is...a dog, who has really been to hell and back. And now she needs you!!
Her "owners" added insult (and animal cruelty charges) to injury by trying to kill Buffy after learning that she suffered a broken shoulder. The couple alleged tried to suffocate the dog by putting her in a plastic bag and throwing her in a dumpster. Like a fictional slayer many of us know and love, having overcome great obstacles...BUFFY LIVES.
The local humane society is collecting donations to cover costs for her surgery and expenses. If you can help or would like to take Buffy home with you, contact the Edgecombe-Nash Humane Society at 252-446-1669.
