Just a Good Ol' Boy asking...
"Have You Forgotten?" I am not what you'd call a country music fan although I'll admit I like some (mostly older) country music. I have to admit, stereotyping as it sounds, that if there is one thing country musicians can write and sing, it's heartbreak.
You may or may not have heard of Darryl Worley. I learned of him when the title track of his upcoming album made news due to its "controversial" nature. It is a song that--in my opinion--transcends genre. If you haven't, give it a listen (requires RealAudio) -- it is a bold statement that touches the heart...my heart. I cried the first time I listened to the lyrics.
