Thanks for joining me Over Coffee
A writer by passion and profession, I've been writing since I was old enough to know how, so establishing a weblog
seemed a natural progression. By adding a blog to my site, I can speak about my passions and life, share my writing, art
and photos, and comment on current events.

2 Sets of Neighbors, 2 days and $1000 So I was over at The Daily Rant, and I read this entry:
Six. Hundred. Thousand. Dollars.
$600K to renovate the kitchen of the Ambassador to the UN?
"Yeah, it's a lot of money, but it's a lot of work and it's worth it," said one department official, who like the others, spoke on condition of anonymity.
One would think that the contractors who usually gouge the Department of Defense (and citizens' pocketbooks) would have sufficient pork from the invasion, but no. And yet another bureaucrat has no idea about reality.
Sigh.
