Just a Friendly Reminder It has been a while since I last mentioned it, so I might as well nag any readers who happen by my blog from the great state of Georgia. I have read that in addition to an abundance of peaches, the state has quite a pet population, which is a problem that results in animal control agencies having to put-to-sleep beautiful, healthy animals like these.
Sadly, Wednesdays are euthanizing day Barrow County Animal Control facility, and it is already Monday night! These sweethearts are sitting on death row! If you can, please visit and adopt an animal from Barrow County Animal Control...tomorrow, if possible. If you can't, perhaps you can help support the shelter in other ways that will allow them to stretch their resources and commute some of these "sentences."
The rest of the little faces waiting to greet you are just as sweet. Please note: Their adoption fees are quite reasonable.
Not from Georgia? There is probably a shelter closer than you think--you just need to find it.
