Fickle Licker of Plate
Not enough pictures lately...okay, here's your moment of fen (feline zen)...  He's not just tasting that either--he'll continue licking it all the way down if you let him. Oddly, a fruit juice bar ISN'T the strangest thing our cats have a taste for...although Rusty is pretty traditional in his yen for people foods sticking mainly to the dairy aisle. Chestnut is definitely the oddball out. She likes mushrooms and black olives but only if they've been pulled off a pizza. She also enjoys bread, Pop Tarts (which we don't eat much any more due to the gelatin in most of them), and Krispy Kremes. Marble is the most finicky of our cats. However, when she was just a kitten, she jumped on the counter where we had freshly frosted cupcakes. She knocked one to the floor and licked every bit of icing off it and the floor. All we found was a naked chocolate cupcake. And Scooter? Well, we love Scooter...and still haven't quite figured her out. I did catch her this morning licking the cereal bowl fill left unattended on the table. The weird part is that he had hot cereal (Maple and Brown Sugar Cream of Wheat), not the cold variety requiring a dairy product that might entice a feline.
