Happy Thanksgiving to You & Yours We enjoyed a peaceful, quiet thanksgiving with a small but satisfying (nearly) traditional feast of Tofurky with gravy, mashed potatoes, home-made pecan-apple-raisin stuffing and a smidge of cranberry sauce (just the ordinary variety from the can) for me. While I have tons of yummy holiday recipes, but I opted for a simple menu this holiday for just the two of us. I'll probably do something different and special for Christmas.
In addition to Thanksgiving, this is one rare times when the holiday is also Phil's birthday, he enjoyed the meal and didn't seem to mind the low-fat gingerbread ice cream (in lieu of cake or pie).
