Thanks for joining me Over Coffee
A writer by passion and profession, I've been writing since I was old enough to know how, so establishing a weblog
seemed a natural progression. By adding a blog to my site, I can speak about my passions and life, share my writing, art
and photos, and comment on current events.

The One Where Everyone was Sick It has been a rough few weeks in the Dennison household. Long hours at work (and working at home after hours) complicated by some serious illnesses for both of us compounding the stress and sadness of a death in the family. Phil shares more about Harold Dennison--a decorated WWII Veteran, husband of 61 years, father, grandfather and great-grandfather--here and here.
At least Phil and I are being and feeling like grown ups (or as he puts it "old farts") by efficiently gathering and managing all the medications needed to care for our various sicknesses...
To mitigate the seriousness of all this, I have utilized the tray from the Friends (Finale) Party Pack, which we received as a gift, to hold our near pharmacy. (Now the subject makes a bit more sense, no?)
We are both on Biaxin for infections...hurray! And as Phil said, egads and yeeeeyuck! At least I have finished the steroids the doctor gave me to keep my lungs open and fevers are minimal to non-existent. Alas, sleep has been a bit elusive for me lately.
Of course, it has not all been trials and tribulations. We had a happy milestone to mark this last week--though we marked it with coughs and nose-blowing. On May 12, 1989, Phil and Leigh-Anne shared their first date...a dance in Eastlake, followed by a snack at Denny's and an Evening at the Improv viewed on cable's A&E. The Friday night date continued on to Saturday and Sunday (separated only by sleep). And 15 years later...I am happy to be sharing my life, love, laughs, hardships, and trials with the attractive, intelligent, witty, college boy who swept me off my feet.
