Thanks for joining me Over Coffee
A writer by passion and profession, I've been writing since I was old enough to know how, so establishing a weblog seemed a natural progression. By adding a blog to my site, I can speak about my passions and life, share my writing, art and photos, and comment on current events.

Good News from Freemont , Ohio
Lucinda has found a home!
Good evening,
Thank you so very much for your concern about Lucinda, the kitty who was very close to being euthanized.

After much thought and after receiving several email messages and after phone conversations, we have found a WONDERFUL home for Lucinda in northern Illinois. Actually, there were a couple very good offers and the decision was not an easy one to make.

This family will be able to give Lucinda the round the clock care that she will require. They are familiar with blindness and epilepsy.

I want to thank everyone for their real concern and generous offers to provide care for Lucinda. The response was surprising. So many people sent out special prayers for this poor girl who was in pretty bad shape with a horrible ear infection, not eating well, not using her litter box, and blindness.

Just so you know, SPA paid for her was given pain medication, treated for her ear infection, and is feeling better and actually began using her litter box!!!

It is amazing what a little extra care and attention will do. It is my contention that the pain in her ears was absolutely horrible. I witnessed it myself. I felt so badly for her.

At any rate, we can all rest a little easier tonight after knowing that this is one more success story that will have a happy ending!!!

Just look at that gorgeous and proud little kitten, too. She looks like she feels better to me...
