Stop and smell the roses
In a sad, strange coincidence, my husband and I have friends who both lost someone special to a brain tumor/cancer last night.
It is another stark reminder that our time in this world is short, and every day life is a gift. Stop and smell the roses, hug and kiss your loved ones, and try not to let the turkeys get you down.
And, every day "make positive effort for the good." Whether you do something positive for yourself, someone you love or a complete stranger, do something to enrich this life and world. Make the effort - do good.
